  • Congratulations to Pamella Johnson NEA ESP of the Year!

I am so excited to share with you that on Saturday, our very own Pamella Johnson from Rochester ESPs and the Chinook UniServ Council was selected as the 2023 NEA ESP of the Year! It was a great night that was made extra special since this year’s NEA ESP Conference was held right here in Seattle. WEA had 140 ESPs in attendance, and we represented!
For those who do not know Pamella, she is a social emotional and behavior interventionist at Rochester High School, serves on both the WEA and NEA Boards, is a WEA member trainer, serves on both the WEA HCR and Small Rural Committees, and chairs the State Para Board – and I’m certain that I’ve left a couple of things off. Oh, and she also coaches track at Rochester High School.
Congratulations, Pamella! I can’t imagine a better choice.
